The annual gathering of entrepreneurs and investors showcases early stage tech and biotech startups in the region.

Madison, WI – Field59, Inc. announced today that it is one of eight Madison companies selected to pitch to investors during this year’s Wisconsin Early Stage Symposium Elevator Pitch Olympics. The symposium is produced by the Wisconsin Technology Council and is being held today and tomorrow at the Monona Terrace Convention Center.

Derek Gebler, CEO & Founder of Field59, will be delivering his pitch to a panel of 8 investors and the symposium audience as part of a group of early stage companies at the event. The pressure’s on, because he’ll only have 90 seconds to generate interest. When asked about this opportunity, he said,

“It’s an honor to be a part of Wisconsin startup culture, and I think it’s fantastic to be able to present in the Elevator Pitch Olympics. What we’re trying to do with video goes beyond traditional video applications. We’re focusing on how video can be used as searchable data for organizations wanting to produce and share live and recorded educational, event, and training video to a wider audience. We’ve built a solid, closed caption technology, and now we’re getting ready to build in multi-language support. It’s a feature unique to this space, and we’re poised to leverage this opportunity.”
