About Eugenia Podesta

With more than 10 years of international development experience and a demonstrated commitment to public service, Ms. Podesta has led tourism development projects in Latin America and served as an advisor on sustainability and business development.

Prior to joining Vital Voices, she provided legal assistance to incarcerated persons in Wisconsin and managed public policy and literacy programs for the Hispanic/Latino community with the United Way. She also served as an instructor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Edgewood College.

Ms. Podesta received her BA in Spanish Literature and Hispanic Studies, and Latin American, Caribbean and Iberian Studies, MA in Latin American Studies (sustainable development focus) and Juris Doctorate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has also studied International Law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú in Lima.
